Thank you for registering with AFC Oakley.
By submitting the registration and making payment, you have accepted the AFC Oakley Player Registration Terms and Conditions.
This page is a short summary only. The full terms apply and should be read in full.
Key points
• Your registration is for the relevant AFC Oakley football season. Regular attendance at training, matches and agreed team activities is expected.
• A registration link and payment do not guarantee a squad place, match selection, playing position or equal playing time.
• Registration is only complete once AFC Oakley has received all required information, including payment, ID, player photograph, medical details, emergency contacts and any required FA or league approval.
• The registration fee includes match kit, league registration fees, Oakley Sports and Social Club associate membership and planned winter training at the floodlit 3G pitch at Bedford Greenacres Independent School.
• The registration fee does not include training kit, tournament entry fees, match fines or discipline charges.
• Match kit remains the property of AFC Oakley and must be returned when requested. Any approved refund will only be processed once all club-owned match kit issued to the player has been returned.
• Refund requests must normally be made within 14 days of registration, excluding non-refundable fees and costs. After this, refunds are at the discretion of the AFC Oakley Committee.
• Players must attend football activity with suitable kit and equipment, including shin pads, suitable footwear and a drink. Jewellery must not be worn or taped over during football activity. Boots must be clean and suitable for 3G sessions or entry to the pitch may be refused.
• Parents, carers and adult players must keep contact, medical and emergency information up to date throughout the season.
• Players must not train or play if injured, unwell, medically advised not to participate or where it may be unsafe to do so. AFC Oakley follows FA concussion guidance. If concussion is suspected, the player will be removed from play and must not return that day.
• All players, parents, carers, spectators and adult members must follow AFC Oakley’s Codes of Conduct, Social Media Policy and club rules. Abuse, harassment, discrimination, offensive behaviour or misconduct may result in disciplinary action.
• Any fines, discipline charges or other costs caused by the conduct of a player, parent, carer, spectator or adult member will be passed on to the responsible person. Unpaid fines or charges may result in suspension from training and matches.
• AFC Oakley may use photographs and video for reasonable club purposes unless you opt out. If you opt out, the club will take reasonable steps not to identify or deliberately feature the player, but incidental appearance in match-day, crowd or background images cannot be guaranteed.
• AFC Oakley may use relevant third-party systems for registration, payments, FA and league administration, communications, safeguarding and club records. The Data Protection Policy and Privacy Notice explains this in more detail.
