The AFC Oakley Development team have a new away kit and sponsor in the shape of Blakelands lodge care home.

Blakelands has a huge presents up north with lots of establishment serving our every growing elderly population.

They are a company that believes in also giving back to the community and sponsor lots of sports teams across the North of the country. 

Blakelands are expanding down south and opened a new care home in April 22” in Marston Moretaine, with their giving back to the community approach they’ve quickly been on the look out for sports teams to sponsor.

With sponsorship in mind a Blakelands representative approached the Development team after having visited the Oakley Sports & Social Club and in seeing how brilliant the set up is and a clubhouse our rivals must pine for they saw an opportunity, that opportunity was to spread there brand in North Bedfordshire in sponsoring the dev team and having a slot in the weekly published Oakley program, and also an opportunity to use the clubs disabled access to bring some off there residents on a Saturday afternoon down the club to attend games.

We’re hoping that this sponsorship can run for years to come and help the dev team progress and spread our new away kit sponsor name all over Bedfordshire
